Civitas Hudson Exchange Fund, LP made a $33 million mezzanine loan to an affiliate of Forest City Enterprises to partially finance the construction of Hudson Exchange, a Class-A, mixed-use development located in Jersey City, directly across the Hudson River from Manhattan. The project is located in what is going to be a master development. The Hudson apartments are the first step in the process of building a master community in the next 10 years. Forest city is a nationally-recognized development firm and has been publicly traded for more than 50 years.
