Duties

Develop, organize and coordinate Civitas Capital Management’s brand and marketing presence in China and other Asian markets through social media, web presence, and other marketing events and collateral. Manage community and public marketing outreach opportunities to individual and institutional investors. Identify and analyze opportunities to optimize Company’s positioning and reputation with key constituencies. Conduct market surveys and develop email marketing, including creation of written content. Manage affiliates and develop paid digital marketing strategy for assigned market area. Analyze and articulate new and existing investor requests and account information, updating investor records concerning requests and actions taken or planned. Monitor investor status in Company’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database system. Review, analyze and respond to questions and inquiries from current Civitas clients and from potential clients at financial institutions. Identify and assist in cultivating key relationships with prospective investors, financial institutions and other financial intermediaries, such as pension funds, family offices, etc., to introduce Company’s products and services. Coordinate translation of Company presentation and materials, including distribution of the documents to relevant third parties as needed.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field and 3 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation in marketing, public relations, or research in the investment industry. Will also accept a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation in marketing, public relations, or research in the investment industry, or any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.

Experience

  • Three years of experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Three years of experience in using Adobe Acrobat to develop and define fillable forms and other materials for foreign investors.
  • Three years of experience using the internet to conduct research.
  • Three years of experience with Salesforce.com or other Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
  • Expertise in writing advertisements, collateral and branding materials and writing content to generate website traffic.
  • Ability to speak, read and write Mandarin Chinese.

Duties

Develop capital-raising opportunities for the Company’s investment products and services in Vietnam, and continue the company’s market development activities in South Korea, with both high-net worth individuals and with institutions. Research, identify and cultivate opportunities to establish meaningful relationships with prospective investors and institutional partners, to market the Company’s specialized investment products and services in both countries. Evaluate potential sub-markets or market segments and partners that represent growth opportunities for the Company. Devise market development strategies and write reports and presentations of the data on which such assessments and strategy recommendations are based. Assist in coordinating marketing activities to promote the Company’s projects in South Korea and Japan. Support, coordinate and manage investor inquiries from South Korea, Vietnam, and Japan. Translate company materials as requested. Establish an understanding of regulations, competition, supply/demand scarcity, and other factors that impact the Company’s investment offerings and incorporate these factors into written analytic reports and presentations to Company management. Identify competitor strategies in key geographies. Write regular reports and presentations to update management about market trends in assigned geographies, based on regular market research activities. Up to 20% international travel required.

Requirements

  • Three years of experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
  • International travel required (20%).
  • Ability to speak, read and write the Korean and Japanese languages.

Build the market for alternative investment products in China and other markets and manage the collection and dissemination of up-to-date information on capital issues. Provide market research to understand different markets for alternative investment products. Write/create investment committee memoranda, presentations, correspondence and other documents, describing investment theses, underwriting methodologies and other information in detail. Maintain marketing/promotional materials, i.e. pitch books. Coordinate and/or execute presentation and document translation and distributing to relevant parties as needed. Confer with the Company’s investment and finance professionals to identify specific investment products and services relevant to the demands and risk profiles of markets and market segments identified through research. Model detailed financial analyses of commercial real estate financing opportunities across a range of property types. Analyze financial information to determine present and forecast future financial performance. Manage relationships with individual and institutional clients. Identify and assist in cultivating key relationships with prospective investors, financial institutions and other financial intermediaries, such as pension funds, family offices, etc., to introduce Company’s products and services. Maintain hard copy files and electronic files of client data via Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database. Review, analyze and respond to questions and inquiries from current clients and from potential clients at financial institutions about Company’s products and services. Manage and/or support other personnel in managing negotiation and legal documentation of transaction structures. Manage due diligence and closing process for transactions. Process construction draw requests.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field and 3 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in Financial analysis and research. Will also accept a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in financial analysis and research, or any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.

Experience

  • Three years of experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Three years of experience using the internet to conduct research.
  • Three years of experience with Salesforce.com or other Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
  • Ability to speak, read and write Mandarin Chinese.
  • Expertise acquired from education or employment in modeling of complex financial analyses using Argus, Excel or similar modeling software.
  • Experience writing effective marketing content for the investment industry.
