Civitas Capital Group CEO Daniel J. Healy was announced a “2017 Corporate Executive Diversity Award” winner at a recent Greater Dallas Asian American Chamber of Commerce ceremony.

The GDAACC annual awards ceremony honors Dallas-area executives who have “displayed excellence in diversity and inclusion.” Healy says that Civitas Capital Group’s competitive advantage comes from our deep expertise in U.S. markets paired with our international cultural competency.

“This recognition means a tremendous amount to me, because diversity and cultural competency is a core component of who we are at Civitas,” said Chief Executive Officer Daniel J. Healy, one of eight Corporate Executive Diversity Award winners announced at the ceremony. “We serve investors from more than 30 countries. Firmwide, we speak 18 languages. These multiple perspectives and experiences not only define us in the marketplace, but they speak to our inclusive company culture. Our diversity is central to the Civitas story.”

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott gave the keynote address at the “Diversity Beyond Boundaries” Annual Awards luncheon, held October 27 at the Marriott Quorum Dallas.

“These award winners exemplify the great work of the GDAACC and have helped strengthen this community with their focus on diversity and inclusion,” Abbott said in a statement. “Congratulations on your success and thank you for your commitment to ensuring Texas and Dallas-Fort Worth remain economic leaders.”
