Builds Upon Other Recent Honors and Awards Received by Growing Investment Management Company in the Dallas Business Community

DALLAS, July 3, 2013 – Daniel J. Healy, Chief Executive Officer of Civitas Capital Management, LLC, was named one of Dallas Business Journal’s 2013 “40 under 40.” Judges reviewed over 300 nominations for this recognition, including a mix of entrepreneurs, corporate executives and business leaders from throughout the local business community. The winners will be featured in the Aug. 30 issue, and they will be honored at an event to be held at the Brookhaven Country Club on Aug. 28.

“I’m honored to be included as one of this year’s ‘40 under 40.’ The list represents professionals from a variety of industries and highlights the diversity of businesses and expertise in the Dallas community,” said Healy. “This recognition is really a reflection of the quality of our team at Civitas and recognizes the work that we’re doing to support economic development in the City of Dallas and throughout the state.”

Healy co-founded Civitas Capital Group with his partners in 2008. He has served as CEO since February 2010, overseeing the family of companies operated by Civitas. The company manages EB-5 funds on behalf of the City of Dallas Regional Center (CDRC), a public-private partnership with the City of Dallas, as well as the Civitas Texas Regional Center, which encompasses the area known as the Texas Triangle. The EB-5 program invites foreign investors to invest a minimum of $500,000 into an American business that creates jobs in the United States.

In April, the Forest City-Cityplace West Village, NYLO Southside and the Alexan on the Hill — three projects funded by the CDRC — won Best Real Estate Deals awards from the Dallas Business Journal.
