What are the benefits of a Regional Center EB-5 investment?

What immigration has done is saying if you create a Regional Center and that center is responsible for bringing investments and jobs into that region we’ll give you the benefit of pulling investors into one fund as opposed to having one investor doing one direct project on their own. So you can pool investors, so you can get hundreds of investors putting a million dollars each and now you can have a much bigger project, a much bigger impact that attracts developers who are actually professional developers in the real estate industry, especially to do much bigger projects, much safer, much stronger. Regional Center then it sponsors the project and has a little bit of control over some of the financial risk because they can take over a project if the developer is not doing the job properly to make sure the investors of the EB-5 program can actually get their green card in the end. It’s an interesting prospect that we recommend Regional Center as a better option. There’s a reason that 95% of the EB-5 is done for Regional Centers.
