How much is the EB-5 investment?

The EB-5 program offers two investment thresholds depending on project location:

  • Standard Minimum Investment: $1,050,000 (applicable to most projects)
  • Targeted Employment Area (TEA) Investment: $800,000 (for projects in rural or high-unemployment areas)

By investing in a TEA project, you can qualify for a significantly lower investment amount of $800,000. This reduction incentivizes investment in economically disadvantaged areas while still meeting the program’s job creation requirements.

Both investment amounts ($1,050,000 and $800,000) are designed to create at least 10 jobs for qualifying U.S. workers. This job creation is a key factor in obtaining your EB-5 green card.
